Yes - you can upload and download files from the cloud - note files, not folders of files, and yes - you can have the facility synchronise your PC with the cloud files, and you can also open your PC to be accessible via the Onedrive logon - but consider the overhead of synchronisation when you have downloaded a movie - maybe 50Mb/sec link, and the sync will be uploading at - maybe 5Mb/secĪlso, I have seen reports that deleting from your PC or from the Onedrive store gets the action echo'd to your PC. I have, after a great deal of being redirected elsewhere, spoken to a member of the OneDrive team about the problems and was told that I should NOT expect it to be changed updated or fixed anytime soon. Users cannot take any action about that as the facility is a giveaway - used as a shop window - No legal requirement for the trader to provide what the window hints the purchaser will get. I would consider the home user interface to the facility to be "NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE" - so many glitches in it's functioning, reporting and usage facilities.
I have that facility, and with 50 years of IT experience, many years in UAT.
