I can't recall, at the moment, where I read it, but Nintendo is re-releasing a bunch of GameCube games for the Wii, with Pikmin and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat being the first ones. Pretty sure it'll just be a compilation of the original games, but that'll save me from having to hunt down the GCN ones! Saw that they're re-releasing the Rogue Squadron games on Wii. These include Boom Blox, Excitetruck Kornicopia (Or whatever the heck that game is called, also getting a sequel as well), and a few others. I only see a handful of games such as Disaster, Endless Ocrean 2 and Wii Sports Resort that I want so far.Īnd of course I haven't purchased everything I want that's already out.

There's a good number of VC and WiiWare releases out or on the way that I want as soon as the firmware update is released next year for sd-card support, but retail releases look pretty slim for 2009 for me as well. I'm interested in Disaster: Day of Crisis, but that's still far off from the sounds of it with no firm release date decided on. Just these two, with one of them still TBA.
I see hardly anything in release list that I want this fall for the Wii. Whoever did that review did a sucky job on it. I haven't gotten to Earned in Blood yet, but I'm happy with the conversion overall.
The frame rate has issues here and there and the controls are inferior compared to the Xbox versions, but there's no way this deserves a 3/10. I purchased Brothers in Arms since I loved the two Xbox titles and wanted to see how well the conversion was pulled off. And Thank God I have GameFly, which is worth much more than its monthly fee when you try to support more than one gaming system.
